Adam's Hut

Also known as 1495 because of the elevation.

Located beside the road from the Eucumbene Dam to Happys and beyond. Shown and named on the Eucumbene map at GR392993.

History

A private hut, used for grazing. In the past, this hut was open to visitors, but damage by various groups including motorcyle riders, has resulted in it being locked and barred. The verandah may be available as emergency shelter.

Construction

Corrugated iron.

Caretakers - local family.
